Urban Wordsmiths is an evening of spoken word poetry and live music entertainment in the heart of Roath. Hosted by award winning spoken word Poet Dai Woolridge, Urban Wordsmiths is fast becoming one of the best poetry nights in Cardiff. You'll find us in the incredible Urban Crofters building, so come join us for a night of spoken word, open mic, live music and all round great vibes.

The Line-up...

What a line-up we have in store for you at Urban Wordsmiths #5! Joining Dai is one of our most exciting line-up yet...

Headline Poets - for the 1st time, we have two headline Poets sharing with us. 'Storm Cecile' - an international spoken word poet from London, 'Connor Allen' - former Children's laureate of Wales and author of Dominoes.

Music Act - Harpist 'Martha in the stars'
